That being said the book was action packed and. I didn't feel too good after I finished this book and don't know if I would read the next in the series but I will wait and see. I am all up for kick ass heroines but I found Melody was too much and I have read booked with cyborgs as the leads where they displayed more emotion than every single one of the characters. They just wanted to kill everything in their sight that I wanted them all to die at the end. I felt a disconnect with them so much just because they where all so very cruel.I mean ever single character was just unreddemable and were just so emotionally void with the exception of anger and hate. He did his best with emotion in his voice and he did every accent down to the T. I was a bit nervous because it was only a male narrator and I knew this book was viewed from two perspectives but Joel Froomkin blew all my expectations away. I like it when the narrators really have the characters’ voices. My only complaint is that the reader reading Mel’s voice doesn’t match my vision of her sound, but he’s so talented with every other voice that it’s easy to get lost in the story. It’s both sexy and funny, and you really can’t stop. I can’t remember the last time I liked a book this much.
